Permission to Begin Again.
The 2026 Old Towne Film Festival returned to historic Orange, California, October 23–25, celebrating independent filmmaking under the theme Permission to Begin Again.
Over three days, the festival showcased 42 films, welcomed filmmakers from near and far, and brought the community together through live storytelling, thought-provoking conversations, music, and our annual awards ceremony.
With the support of local businesses, volunteers, and passionate storytellers, we celebrated creativity, connection, and the courage to begin again.
Watch Festival Director’s Dan Parks’s interview on the Deeper Issues Nerdcast as he talks about the upcoming 2026 OTFF and theme of Permission to Begin Again.
